The Wedding Of Gary & Catrin At Bryngarw House

After a well earned break over the winter months, wedding season for me kicked off in February with the wedding of Gary & Catrin at Bryngarw House in Bridgend.

Thankfully, it was a lovely day weather wise and I arrived at the brides house to find a very chilled out Catrin having her make-up applied. After photographing all the little details like the dress, the shoes and of course the bride getting into her dress with the help of her bridesmaids, we headed over to the church in Llantrisant for a bi-lingual wedding ceremony. I find that a lot of the weddings I photograph make room for a bit of welsh speaking and it’s always nice to hear, despite what people say, the welsh language certainly isn’t dying out from what I can see!

After a beautiful ceremony and a make-shift guard of honour provided by Gary’s folk dancing crew, we headed on over to Bryngarw House for a drinks reception followed by the all important group shots and couples shots.

Fortunately for me, this was a very relaxed wedding to ease me back into wedding photographer mode! Here are the highlights . . .
