Bump To Baby Photography Package
Oh gosh, I don’t know where to start with this one! When I first met Lauren & Tom, Lauren was about 8 months pregnant and looking good on it to say the least! Luckily for Lauren, she’s had a relatively smooth pregnancy (perhaps why she looked so fantastic) and was keen to get some photographs done before the baby arrived.
When I arrived at the couple’s house in Penylan, I was pleased to discover it was flooded with natural light and as beautifully decorated as any show home I’ve ever seen! I must admit, it felt very much like the type of celebrity photo shoot you see splashed across the front pages of OK Magazine!
Although initially Lauren was keen to wait until the baby was a few months old for her second lot of photographs, I received a call from Tom just a fortnight after our bump photography session to say that Lauren had given birth to a beautiful baby girl and she’d had a change of heart and was keen to have newborn pictures as soon as possible.
When I arrived at the couple’s home for the second time, I was greeted by a still beautiful looking Lauren and the couples even more beautiful new baby daughter, Rosalie.
Despite having had my own baby, with little Rosalie being just 8 days old at the time of the shoot, I was actually quite nervous moving her around for pictures, you forget just how tiny they are!

When I had my daughter Olivia (who’s now four), I must admit that the last thing on my mind was photographing her, never mind getting dolled up to be in front of the camera myself!
Looking back, I think I probably should have made the effort as the first proper photographs I have of my little one are from when she’s about 4 months old. Since the first few months passed by in a hazy blur of sleep deprivation, I remember very little which is why it’s so important to take photographs OR, book a professional photographer to come and do it for you!
