Some weddings just flow — with light, love, laughter — and Deniol and Jeni’s day at Gileston Manor was one of those unforgettable ones that makes me fall in love with wedding photography all over again.
Set on a dreamy summer’s day in the heart of South Wales, their wedding was the perfect blend of relaxed elegance and heartfelt celebration. Gileston Manor, with its historic charm and sweeping views, was the perfect backdrop.
Jeni looked absolutely stunning. The kind of bride who lights up every room she walks into — effortlessly elegant, with a calm, graceful presence that made photographing her an absolute joy. And Deniol? Totally beaming. You could see it in his eyes every time he looked at her — the kind of connection that’s just beautiful to witness, let alone capture.
The ceremony was intimate and filled with emotion. Friends and family gathered under a cloudless blue sky, surrounded by flowers and that soft, golden light that photographers dream about.
One of my favourite things about this day was how natural everything felt. From the way Deniol and Jeni laughed with their friends, to the quiet glances they shared during the speeches, every frame told a story. It’s weddings like this that remind me: it’s not just about the big moments — it’s about all the little ones in between.
As the sun began to set, we snuck away for some golden hour portraits in the gardens, and wow — that light. Soft, buttery, and absolutely perfect.
From start to finish, this was a wedding full of warmth — in every sense. Beautiful light, beautiful people, and a whole lot of heart.
