Wedding Photography at FairyHill, The Gower

Reception Venue: Fairy Hill

The Couple: Steven & Louise

My first wedding of 2019 took place at brand new wedding venue, Fairyhill, the latest addition to the Oldwalls collection.

The Gower is always a stunning setting for a wedding and Fairyhill is no exception. A chocolate-box pretty, ivy adorned Grade II listed building, Fairyhill is just as beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside.

When Steven & Louise first got in touch, they were in two minds about having a professional wedding photographer. As neither like having their photograph taken and they were aiming for a no-fuss / intimate wedding, they weren’t sure they wanted to put themselves through the ordeal of posing for pictures, understandable and a similar stance to most of the couples who book me!

As someone who hates having their photo taken, I completely understand when couples tell me they don’t like having their photograph taken and I really do try my best to make it relaxed and a bit of a giggle.

Despite the wet weather, I think we managed to get some beautifully natural shots and I don’t think it was too painful for the happy couple in the end!

Here are the highlights . . .

If you’re planning a wedding at Fairyhill or anywhere else in the Gower, I regularly travel to photograph weddings outside of Cardiff and South Wales. Get in touch here for more info!
