Farm Weddings – Wedding Photographer Thame – Oxford

Real Wedding Inspo

Who doesn’t love a farm wedding?! This beautiful courtship took place in late June and was a really hot and sunny day. I travelled all the way up to Thame in Oxfordshire to photograph this wedding and it didn’t disappoint.

I arrived at the beautiful Airbnb cottage to find Laura getting ready with her bridesmaids. The atmosphere was relaxed and I could tell it was going to be a beautiful wedding from all the little details lying about the place!

We were soon headed for the church where Mark was nervously awaiting the arrival of Laura. A beautiful ceremony took place before we headed back to Mark’s family farm which was just amazing!

A beautiful Marquee had been erected in one of the many crop fields but first, a drinks reception in the accompanying woodland.

As it was a very sunny day, we were up against it in terms of photography with very harsh sunlight streaming in at all angles!

I was only booked for part day coverage but as I’d travelled so far, I wanted to stay a little later to ensure we got the best light and the best photos possible!

The light a little bit later on was perfect and we got some lovely photos in the crop field!

I then headed off to the Oxfordshire Hotel where ironically, I used to stay every month when I worked for Lucozade many moons ago! It was very nostalgic I must say!

Here are the highlights . . .
