Wedding Photography At Gilestone Manor
Venue: Gilestone Manor
Flowers: Alison Bentley
Dress: Catherine Deane
My second visit in as many weeks to Gilestone Manor and once again, it was an absolute blast!
Simon & Millie, where to start, these two are such beautiful humans! Millie is a fellow cat lover so it’s fair to say we instantly bonded. She’s also confessed that she loves my insta stories featuring my cat Ruby. If ever there was a way to my heart, it’s through complimenting Ruby!
A few days before the wedding, I met up with Simon & Millie for a coffee and we ended up chatting for about 3 hours! Consequently, this wedding felt more like spending the day with friends than it did work!
The day kicked off at a family friend’s cottage where Millie and the squad were getting ready. When I saw Millie’s dress I did a little happy dance because not only do I LOVE separates but it was so the right choice for Millie! Understated, elegant and fitted like a glove!
Once ready, we took a stroll down to the church which was just a few minutes away. A lively ceremony with lots of singing and lots of smiling went down before we headed to Gilestone Manor for the reception.
Thanks to a nasty bit of rain, we had to abandon photos before the reception but thankfully things had dried up after dinner so we got to make the most out of the boat and the crop field which had grown a ridiculous amount in just a few weeks! The couple shots are always my favourite part but we had such a laugh attempting to do a veil shot (not my style) , giving the finger to a mean dog walker who was angered by our presence and I almost forgot, Millie somehow managed to find a cat on site and called me over to take a picture, girl after my own heart.
So to summarise, these two rock and we had an awesome day!
Here are the highlights . . .
